The Bleachery

I have yet to find an old abandoned factory that didn't have several of these spiral staircases. I think its their combination of vertebrae/DNA-helix like shape that makes them so skeletal, so organic - like the bones of some long dead creature.

Though this building is gone now, there was a door behind these stairs that you can see in this photo. Inside that door were some very dark rooms one of which contained something very frightening. Did you se it?
